The estate of "La Gardette"

This place was always inhabited since Antiquity: ancient Roman oppidum and shrine, wisigoth relics are present on the fields. One also says that Hannibal passed by here, on his way towards Rome...

The property, located at 2km from the village of Buis-les-Baronnies, lies at the crossing of two valleys, hence its name: GARDETTE, coming from "guard". Part of the estate is in edge of the "Ouvèze" river.

The property nowadays stretches as far as 150 ha and includes several cultivated agricultural fields, a territory for private hunting, a pond for fishing, and apartments in the principal residence.
